Tips for clean product cut-outs
Start with contrast
A product photographed against a plain wall or sheet that differs from its own color gives the cleanest edges. Avoid busy backgrounds and strong shadows.
Use even light
Daylight from a window or two lamps on either side reduces hard shadows that the model may treat as part of the product.
Check fine edges
Hair, fur, glass and thin straps are the hardest parts. Use the before and after view and the tolerance setting to get the result you want.
Match each marketplace
Amazon main images need pure white. eBay recommends a clean background without borders or text. Etsy allows styled backgrounds, cropped toward 4:3 in search.
